Youth Ministry
Nursery
(ages birth to 3yrs)
Our church nursery provides care and nurturing for infants and young children, typically from birth up to age three or four. The nursery allows parents to engage fully in worship and church activities, fostering a sense of peace of mind and belonging within the church community. A church nursery is more than just childcare; it’s a ministry that supports the families within the congregation and lays the groundwork for a child’s faith journey within a safe and loving environment.
Children’s Church
(ages 4-8)
Children may attend Children’s Church during the morning Worship Service and is intended for pre-K up through Grade 6. We use this time to help children to worship, and learn about God and the Bible at a level that they can understand. Activities like storytelling, crafts, games, and drama are often incorporated to make learning fun and memorable, appealing to children’s natural inclination towards play and hands-on experiences. Children’s church often includes elements mimicking adult worship, like singing and sermons, but in a kid-friendly way. Children’s church strives to provide a welcoming and enriching experience where children can grow in their understanding of God, develop their faith, and build relationships within a supportive Christian community.
Pre-Teen Ministry
(ages 9-12)
Preteen Sunday school class is a dynamic and interactive environment where preteens learn about the Bible, explore their faith, develop a closer relationship with God, and learn to apply biblical principles to their lives in practical ways. It’s a place where faith is explored through a combination of biblical teaching, discussion, and engaging activities tailored to the preteen age group. Lessons often start with games or activities to help preteens connect with each other and the leaders, setting a welcoming and interactive tone.
Preteens engage with scripture through various methods, such as reading passages, watching short animated videos (like those based on The Action Bible), and using study sheets. Activities, discussions, and role-playing scenarios help preteens understand how biblical principles apply to their everyday lives and challenges.
Teen Ministry
(ages 13 – 17)
Central Life Church’s Teen Ministries understands that adolescents are not only vital to the church now but are also being developed to lead it in the years to come. Our mission is to work alongside parents, helping to cultivate their children’s faith in Jesus Christ and their understanding of God’s Word. We strive to nurture their active participation in the Body of Christ, transitioning them from their teen years into adulthood. It’s Our desire that each teenager have a personal relationship with God through salvation in Jesus Christ.
